Al, Port Vale won away from home today against a team in a playoff place and only a point behind. Port Vale are not really sliding down the table. They currently stand in an automatic promotion place.

Again, I agree with you Al that we can go up. Obviously not automatically, but we are more than capable of getting into the play offs. Let’s, face it, we have played the top three and not lost to them and they are well ahead of the rest of the division. Where I disagree with you is that I would keep Diangana and Swift. Again a matter of opinion!

Leicester, I love your optimism, however, I just don’t see us going up this term. We may make the playoffs but I’m not minded we could win them. I sincerely hope I’m proved wrong though.

Well OB - they were on a poor run before todays result. Played 2 games more than a few teams around them and 11 points behind Walsall who have two games in hand. So love Big Dave but he?s not setting the world on fire there with a good team although he?s found his level. Walsall though playing some fantastic football under Sadler and some good young players.

We are more than capable of being in the playoffs and if we are, then who knows? I would be in no rush to offload Jon Swift; if someone came in for him with a good offer, then fine, let him go. Diangana, on the other hand, offers nothing most of the time and in my opinion, the club should be actively trying to find a buyer. As for Cole, well words fail me, can someone confirm whether we bought him or if he’s on loan?

Depends on the incoming manager and only about 2/3 players away from a very good team. Need to rid ourselves of the garbage and we know who they are. Whilst I love Mowatt he?s too slow and we need a pacey creative player in the middle.

If I was Patel - I would break the bank for a decent manager who is forward thinking. Whilst Brunty and Abella are doing a fine interim job - they are not the answer and we need someone in now - the January Window is crucial for incomings and outgoings by a fresh manager and fresh ideas.

Will Kidderminster Harriers be interested in Cole?

I accept they lost a few recently, but they remain in a strong position. I know absolutely nothing about how good a squad Big Dave has at Port Vale so bow to your greater knowledge of the strength of that squad.

I find it difficult that you find Big Dave is the issue and not the players and yet at our club its the players and the management that are the issue.

A serious couple of questions to you. Who do you want as our next manager given our current financial situation?

And, if we did go for a manager who has previously been with is, who would you go for?………..I take it as read that Big Dave won’t be on your radar.

Loved Big Dave and sincerely hope he gets Port Vale promoted but he was a poor appointment for us with a great team. Don?t want the same mistake with Brunty who is a top guy.

Who would I want - well I would go with the Liverpool coach as he has player experience and being part of a top management team. On a purely selfish note - he could bring some great young talent on loan. Koumas for example would easily get in our team.

Cooper could be good but no way will he come to us when he?s still being paid a very handsome salary by Leicester.

Past managers OB - honestly love Mowbray as he did a fantastic job at Sunderland and manages on the front foot and gives youth a go. I don?t know the latest about his health though so this would be a question mark.

I did like Bilac too and thought he was unfairly sacked. He had balls but to be honest not up on the latest surrounding him now!

If I was in Patel?s position - I would pay the money for the right manager appointment and question where the 3 million is going if he does not. Asda are having a tough time because the brothers did not appoint a CEO as were too tight. The moral of the story is the 10 million package they are now offering is peanuts to the lost % footfall and strategic direction!

We do need someone in quickly due to this January window in my opinion.

You’re joking, Cole wouldn’t get into the Kidderminster team, he’s not good enough!
