You have to remember, that most of these outrages, happened in labour run boroughs. Votes mattered.

I want it all out, every department that failed to do their jobs and every politician who made sure it was buried.
Thousands of lives ruined, so I aint praising any of them, until they nail some guilty bodies to the wall.
Just to be clear TTR, do you mean the perps of the crimes or those seen (proved, it will have to be) to be complicit in covering up/excusing?

Some of these girls were as young as 11, it isn't just a *** crime, its kiddly fiddling en masse and the thousands of victims deserve justice.
Well its time to name / shame/ prosecute those involved.

from Sky news-The ringleader of a notorious grooming gang was employed as a welfare rights officer by Oldham Council, a major report has revealed.

An independent review said Shabir Ahmed, who led the ***ual abuse ring in Rochdale, was seconded to the Oldham Pakistani Community Centre during his time working for the local authority.

Despite multiple concerns being raised about him and his arrest for the ***ual assault of children, police failed to tell his employers.

"If this had happened, it may have potentially avoided the tragic abuse of other children..." the report states, citing "serious multiple failures" by both GMP and the local authority.

This hot potato and injustice was allowed to happen, to satisfy diversity relations, votes and the girls were sacrificial lambs

I don't care about the previous inquiry, it obviously still didn't go far enough as this out rage is still occurring in some areas today.

Enough is enough and even if Starmer and Cameron have to take the can, so be it.

These animals, behaved like they were still in Pakistan and Bangladesh and British law and officials let them
Tricky, you do realise that the hideous Shabir Ahmed you speak of is serving a 22 year jail term don’t you? Things haven’t been handled well at all and I agree we have much to learn, but it’s not as if nothing was done.

Having been brought up in Oldham and spent several years as a child protection coordinator in Derby I’ll declare an interest. Would that you would do the same in your haste to discredit all things Labour and Muslim.

Of course those that committed the crimes. But i believe the ones that covered it up need to be investigated by an inguiry. Examples are already mentioned (eg Brown/ HMG), circulated a memo to police telling them not to persue this? But as I said, social services knew and did little or nothing. Councils knew and either ignored it, or swept it away.

Remember when Naz Shar retweeted this and liked it? Then she quickly back tracked and deleted it.
How far did it go, is what i want to know.

Yes I know he was. The point was, he could have been stopped soooner, or did you miss that bit?
The point also is, that these crimes were Muslim gamgs in Labour areas. Leading us right back to votes.

I didn’t miss it and I did agree things weren’t handled well and that we have much to learn. We all know that, but he was imprisoned twelve years ago and has since had his sentence extended.

Quite rightly so. But like I said, not just him, but lots could and should have been prosecuted earlier, had due procedure been followed. The simple fact remains, that politics(votes) and being scared to push the subject into the light went against those poor girls/ children.

You say much to learn, how many years now is it? Still we haven't learned and clamped down on it hard enough.

Can you just imagine the outrage and riots, had this been white Christian males, corrupting/ exploiting/raping solely muslim girls?
We get a mini hurricane, just by dropping that book of theirs on the floor.

Those that played this down, covered for it, swept it under the carpet need exposing.

Will be interesting to see how powerful Musk is. He seems to be looking in Rupert Lowes direction as the next leader of Reform now he's decided Farage is surplus to requirements.

Not sure he can decide anything though, subject to the Reform membership not being susceptible to bribery

Behave yourself sith, Lowe isn't popular enough
Farage is the most approved leader in the country, that is fact.
Reform picks its leader, not Musk

Agreed, not enough was done. HMG spent ?200M on a 7 year inquiry which delivered in excess of 20 recommendations. The Blue HMG implemented zero of those recommendations. On LauraK yesterday, Wes Streeting said the the Red HMG is working on those recommendations. Time will tell but I'm more hoping things happen rather than expecting concrete action in the next 12 months.
