The point in question was there was not much to be impressed on Carlos?s CV. Name a football team managed by Carlos that is superior to anything from this chap. Did Carlos play international football or manage a team internationally? Many would say Huddersfield or ourselves would not beat any of the good MLS teams - and there are some decent teams which was why Messi went there.

Name anything more impressive rather than have a dig!

I remember the chicken farmer from Carlisle , Alan Ashman getting the job in 1967 .
Our last manager to win a major trophy .

I like the idea of appointing a young up and coming manager. it?s a risk, but appointing any coach is a risk, Wicky won the league and cup double with Young boys and has a 50% win ratio across all tenures. He likes to play attacking football with emphasis on wingers. Having no experience of English Football doesn?t bother me at all, in fact it could be beneficial, fresh ideas etc
Any football played on the front foot giving the players the chance to express themselves must be better that the Southgate handbrake football served up by the Messiah😂Corberan, a messiah that?s won f? all
I for one would welcome him, get rid of the dead wood and start again with younger players like Whitwell, Fellows, Heggem, Taylor and co

Do agree completely Bomber but very rude of you to say Carlos won f all as listed on his Honors was the:

    Leeds United U23
Professional Development Northern League: 2018?19 season.

    😂😂😂😂

His CV is pretty good as he?s actually won a few things.

Getting sacked without understanding the circumstances is not a judge of a bad manager. Bilic has had more dismissals than anyone and I think most fans would have him. Steve Cooper has been sacked everywhere he?s been but he?s still considered an outstanding candidate.

    Context is everything.

Wrong country, I’m afraid! The Sound of Music was set in Salzburg, Austria; Wicky is, I believe, Swiss!

What about a cuckoo clock presented to Cole and rather than saying cuckoo cuckoo - it could be adjusted to say feck off - feck off!

I know, but the von Trapp's escaped to Swiss land, according to the film. In reality, they had moved to the USA before the war.
