Our business dealings buying and developing central defenders as served us well over the past years. We have made a handsome profits, on Collins and O'Shea, and next summer possibly Cj Riley and Esteve, so we have to keep innovating in that department.

We do need a decent striker, although I doubt we would be able to improve on what we have for someone valued at 10 million, in a January transfer window

O'Shea looks to be settling in nicely at Ipswich, who I thought served us well in the later part of our premier league campaign

Cj Riley reminds me a bit of Ben Mee, but a better player. CJ reads the game like Mee, but has better quality on the ball and will play regularly at the highest level.

We have possibly the best defensive record in Europe, there is going to be enormous interest in our two CBs this summer, it's a certainty that one will be going, possibly both. A good move to get a replacement in now, and 10 million euros is only just over 8 million pounds. It all makes sense to me.
