    My understanding is that wingbacks cover the entire wing in both a defensive and attacking capacity. Wingers, on the other hand, are attacking players and will usually have another player behind them (i.e. a full back) to cover defensive duties.

    If I were a wingback, I'd ask for a raise!

    Before TV so-called expert analysts we didn't have to know. We just watched the game and celebrated the win or whinged at the loss.

    A lot of people play computer games now. Whether it's FIFA or a management game the tactics and formations are a big part of it.
