    Leonard 1.83 metres ----- 6 feet & a quarter inch

Hugill & JCH exact same height as Leonard

    Sam Nombe 1.8 metres ----- 5 feet 9 inches [ 5.90551 feet ]

He can't be both because 1.8m is 6ft!

In the YT Evan’s is quoted as saying

"We've lost Joe (Hungbo - loan return) so there might be a wide option as well. And certainly we want something up top.

"There won't be lots of business. The brief from our chairman is very clear: anyone who comes in has to improve us.

"We're working hard to make sure this is a window that balances itself financially.

"We can't just keep going to the well - that well being named Tony Stewart. We can't just keep going to him and saying: 'Give us more money.’

That reads to me that the budget remains the same, so no new money. It also seems that TS have given up on this season and are therefore using this window as part of the transition and will do enough to allow us to gather enough points to stay up. I think Evan’s is here to stay, he is TS mate and a good front man for the club, only way he would leave is if he walked (won’t happen) or relegation was a high risk. You guys might read that and other recent interviews and come to a different view.

Derbs, Evo's going nowhere which may upset some on here. He's got a job to do with nothing financially to back him up so it's trade for trade.

Having Hugill on such a high wage is the hard one to deal with. They moved Eaves on by agreeing a deal/settlement so he could sign for Northampton. With Hugill and his very high wage, it's a different matter. No one is going to pay him his current wage and the difference to allow him to move may not suit Tony's remit.

No player is going to take a wage cut to move, I wouldn't would you? Especially if I were in my 30's and my career is coming to an end.
His return on playing to goal ratio is absolutely abysmal so which mug of a Manager is going to want him? I should reckon with what he's on it could pay for two players wages if he left.

    0.90551 x 12 = 10.86612
    Therefore 1.8m = 5ft 11in (rounded up)

Yes you are correct. I read the 5.9 feet as 5 foot 9 inch. It is in fact 5 foot 10.8 inch.

You are correct but I have taken pay cuts to move when I needed to. The issue with Hugill is Evans treatment of him. He is quick enough to criticise players and push players out for a bad game but he makes Hugill feel comfortable. He is picked every week to sit on the bench, when he comes on for JCH he is made captain!!, when he comes on he contributes nothing and everyone can see it, the fans, his team mates, the manager and the owners. So why do it? If the club want him out you do everything you can to make him unhappy, that unhappiness goes home with him he will then over half a season want to leave as soon as the window opens even if it is for less money. If he hadn't of been named in the squad in September not been part of the day to day training and match preparation mentally he would have been begging his agent to get him out, people do not want to be unhappy and our partners put pressure on us when that misery is around the house and family. Yes it is a bit heartless, but it is a business and sometimes you have to create an environment that helps you get the outcome you want.
