Florida and a few other Eastern seaboard states were hit by Hurricane Milton in late 2024. You can still see the signs of the devastating destruction that the storm had left.
However, it appears that most Floridians believe that Governor Ron DeSantis has done a superb job with crisis management.

I don?t think that the same will be said of California?s Gavin Newsom - someone who has been touted as possibly the Democrat?s next Presidential candidate. He has spent more money in real terms than any other Californian governor, borrowed more money, but cut investment to emergency services.

It's getting there. Trudeau has gone and apart from Starmer, who hasn't really got going yet, there is only Australia's Albanese left.

He has just called an election that will happen by the middle of May and I believe that he will get trounced by the formally 'unelectable' Peter Dutton.

Politics goes around in circles and cycles, but this latest batch of crazy 'socialist' governments have been the maddest in modern history.

I saw Dutton being denounced by the Aussie media yesterday for suggesting that Australia should have only one flag, that all Australians are equal under one law and that antisemitism should be stamped out. Added to that he believes Australia should look at nuclear power to assist them to get to zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Is it me or was the world turned into a crazy planet ruled by people with serious mental issues?
