    Salford stuffed

    I remember when we lost 8-1 to Swansea in a cup match and it destroyed our confidence. Let's hope for the same here.

    I watched the 1st half but wasn't much of a game so gave up at half time.

    I thought the same, and apparently it was mostly a second string Man City.

    Some second string! About half the team regular first team squadders at least. And fire power at the ready in reserve just in case. Just looking at the bench would make many teams tremble.

    I have zero interest in the Premiership apart from a quick glance at the results and don't know anything about the Man City squad, so my 'second string' comment was based entirely on this:

    Pep Guardiola had chosen to leave out a number of big names for the third-round tie.

    I hope it shatters Salford's confidence because that should benefit Notts, but billionaire squads full of millionaire internationals thrashing L2 clubs by 8 goals is kind of tacky imo
