Now to get back on the topic.
I was present at a Dee4life board of directors meeting as a non voting guest in 2019.
At every meeting there was the usual update from the Dee4life secondary representative Bob Hynd about the new stadium development at Campy Nou.
On this occasion Bob Hynd told us that shortly after Tim Keyes had purchased the 29.7 acres site of the former NCR Camperdown playing fields from Vico Camperdown Limited, Tim Keyes tried to sell it back to them but they were not interested.
No wonder. Vico Camperdown Limited had been trying to sell their 29.7 acres site for about 5 years with no one interested until Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited arrived on the scene.
The Dee4life secretary said at the meeting that perhaps Vico Camperdown Limited had been dissolved.
I immediately replied that the previous week it was still in business as it was listed on the Companies House website.
Vico Camperdown Limited is still in business but it changed its name in 2021.
The above information if correct might account for the fact that Tim Keyes never mentions anything about the new stadium development in the former NCR Camperdown grounds as he realises that he made a mistake purchasing the site for ?1,296,000 (One million, two hundred and ninety six thousand pounds) with no planning permission consents in place on the site.
I have kept this information to myself but with the planning application dragging along and a lot nonsense being posted on Pravda (Dark Blues Forum) about it I have decided to post this information.
I hope that the posters on the Dark Blues Forum such as Billy Campbell’s Ghost, Reverend Lovejoy, Napier and various other posters are paying attention to this post.
