He?s far from my favourite player but the influence he has on games is undeniable, and for that I?m gutted to see him go. However, it?s never felt like he had a great affinity for the fans and I wonder why he hasn?t played higher?.he doesn?t seem like a bad egg as such but for a player of his calibre to be somewhat of a journey man is a bit odd.

To lose him to the scum is worse, I?d rather him have gone to Mansfield. I can understand the concern of some about the owners ambitions but they must feel it is good business?..though I?m unsure on what are effectively unproven youth players coming in to replace him?????unless the bros have some unheard of diamond of a player from the Brazilian 3rd lined up to come in!

Getting 300k for a player who wants out and Months left of his contract is a bloody good deal. MK Dons willing to pay over the odds for Nemane and Crowley show they have no real football brain at the top so we are already streets ahead of them

    Right about what?
You think a club wanting to pay ?300k for a league 2 player with 6 months left on his contract proves he?s not very good???

300k for a player we got on a free with months left on his contract shows what a well oiled machine our club has become.

As for a replacement..I think it?s already been done in anticipation of DC moving. Jarvis in the 10 or JJ moves into a central role and Jarvis goes wide.

Its nothing to do with transfer fees, its more to do with the fact that HE doesn't want to play for Notts. Also he is not a team player, but more like a look at me show boater.. If you like him that much, then wonder off down to MK to watch him do his pirouettes..

Do we have any evidence that MKD are offering 300k? Seems a lot to me considering the circumstances, but I guess they have money to burn and don't want to compete with L1 clubs in the summer.

I think JJ and Jarvis will sit behind Jatta. Allows McGoldrick to rotate with Jatta as well. Have Grant and Edwards to come and rotate with JJ and Jarvis with two of Tsaroulla, Martin and Austin on the wings... That is a tasty attack.

Seems the three medicals was correct, who is the third? Hoping for a beast of a midfielder, if so, all aboard the train

Surprising from Crowley?s perspective as assumed he?d wait until the summer when he?d have more options, but it sounds like MK are blowing silly money so can?t blame him. On a football level, Lindsey has proved he?s in a different league to Maynard so if he?s earning a lot more playing under a far better manager in an equivalent style than I can understand it.

And total understand the club taking such a big fee for a player who presumably was happy to go too and would?ve left in six months anyway.

Disappointed for us we lose a very good player, one of the best in League Two. Talk on this thread about replacing him with Conor Grant 🤯. We played two months without Crowley very recently and barely won a game, then our form picked up when he came back. His level of creativity is hard to replace. Safe possession doesn?t generally win you games - in other words sometimes you need a player with a bit more about them willing to take risks to create chances, even if it means getting the boo boys on their back for losing the ball occasionally.

Give me a bit of over indulgence from Crowley over safe play from more limited players such as Hinchy, Austin, Grant, even Palmer any day - that won?t get us out of this league so we?ll need a big replacement in my view.

The rest of the squad all know this which is not exactly conducive to team spirit
I understand we've held out to drive a hard bargain though. A bit like with Macca and Millwall, where the player also pushed for the move
If this is the case (and I get the impression you don?t make this stuff up) then I think it would be best for all parties if we were to let him go. That way Notts get as much money as possible to soften the blow as I do think Crowley is a talented player and we have more chance of getting promoted with him at Notts than with him being at MK Dons.

I?m not going to criticise the club or the player the model is clearly doing its job.

Of course from an emotive fan point of view it?s annoying and incredibly frustrating it?s a team in our league that wants want we want promotion and not a league one or championship club.

There is the nightmare vision of us playing at Wembley in the playoff final against MK Dons and Crowley and Nemane coming back to haunt us. Let?s hope such a scenario doesn?t come to pass and we can go on and get automatic promotion or not have to cross paths with MK Dons in the playoffs. But there are many permutations and outcomes to this season that we simply do not know at this stage.

As always enough has been done for me to continue to trust the radar.

That?s how I see it, I?d like us to bring in Browne from Derby or someone similar. We could give him some game time by not keeping Jatta constantly on all game and maybe even resting him where poss as there?s lots of games to go.
