Do you remember a few weeks ago when SE said they were dealing with things at the club that the supporters wouldn't want to know about?
I did wonder what that meant at the time and have to say Evans is wrong because supporters like to know EVERYTHING that is happening at the club whether good or bad.
I presumed he was talking about the players. Tithe wanting away. I guess cam and bramhall were spouting SIM things. Didn't think to much into it in the context of the interview

The great lump only has 6 months left on his contract.

So it isnt that much money. It?s all plausible, so why the hell are they not doing it, I say why, evo as you call him wants him here because he wants to play a certain way which inc him and Harris. When all are fit when the nasty weather is over and the kids can come out to play.

Ditch Evans and it all goes away.

Did S.E. misread the script, when he told us,there'll be nobody coming in before the Huddersfield match, should have said, after the Huddes match.

Time does not fly……signed jan 23 on 3.5 years. So we have the lump until summer 26. Whoever is collectively responsible for this wants arris kicking.

Hindsight? I can't recall you or anyone else saying that when he signed on the dotted line.
I just hope there's some club out there daft enough to take him off our hands.

Evans keeps picking Hugill in the matchday squad and lets him take the armband, my view as said previously make it clear to him he can sit on his backside for the term of his contract and not play in that time, as well as not be near the matchday squad, or he can get another club and we will do a compromise deal to assist the move. He is coming to the end of his career and if he thinks that 50% of what he has left could be spent not playing, with no guarantee of ever playing again (lots of older out of contract players without work) I would be surprised if he let his career end in such a way.
Hugill will know a lot of ex-footballer and how many of them say time and time again, play as long as possible. I don't think he is stupid and he will know leaving now allows him that opportunity to keep playing.
Evans making him part of the inner group is not helping.

If we take what Evan’s says at face value nobody else is leaving, and in fact he seems a little unhappy with how many have left and names the chairman in that comment. He now talks about TWO or THREE, so looks like we really are going to run with a small squad. He also says that it is a 60/40 chance that one player will be in by the weekend.

Don't know if you've noticed but he's started using phrases like "if I get my way" which could be interpreted as he's covering his back if certain things do or don't happen (ie that decision was taken against my wishes).
For example he said "If I get my way Cam Humphreys won't be leaving."
I'm beginning to wonder if we should be concerned that he's saying these things to forewarn supporters because he knows there will be some unpopular decisions or minimum activity in this transfer window.

Mellow, we're use to lack of activity in the Jan window pal, nothing new there.
