    Amen to that.

I would also like to add that Barton is an absolute cunt.

    Amen.

This is the absolute f**kknuckle that suggest all of Messi?s achievements have an asterisk on them because he had a growth spurt which ?was steroids?

He?s an absolute shyster, a wannabe hard man who also happens to be a racist mysogynist, but if you call him that then all the people who use the word snowflake with get all snowflakey about it 🤣

With you all the way on this, Ian.

Funnily enough, I used to like him. I liked the way he tried to educate himself about things and I thought he used to speak well about different issues.

Aaaaand then the mask slipped and he turned out to be how you aptly described him.

    Just my opinion.

Same here for an all so brief period of time

As for the main topic of this thread, Ian has already covered the various things I would have added

Perhaps some of what he says is right and some wrong. Thats usually the case.

I?d agree in most cases fella, but not Barton? he?s a special case, and not in a good way.

Just reminds me of Tommy ?my real name is Stephen Christopher Yaxley but that sounds a bit posh for the mugs who follow my b0ll0cks? Robinson.

That is spot on how I feel about Barton. I really liked him as a player for us - at least during his 'second term' where he came back from prison and actually performed like a champ for us. At that time, he genuinely seemed to want to move away from who he had been. He even came off like a cool dude, quoting The Smiths and watching The Office.

That was only for a while though. He soon became what we all knew he always was, although wrapped in a 'public intellectual with my own podcast but I also want to be a football manager'-persona.
