Had he put the Nots statement out first, I'd agree with you, the Notts side was an after thought, significantly after as well, by like an hour or so

    An hour? Wow!

You make it out like it was a few days.

There would have been much more to that interview so he possibly did it immediately after.

Walsall are now everyone?s 2nd favourite team now weve played them twice arent they? Bit unlucky for us theyve lost Lowe but theyre getting Freddie Draper back so not all bad.

I hope they hammer Crowley and his new mates tomorrow.

Yep an hour, just about long enough for his agent (?) to say "Dan, you little cash machine you, post something good about Notts quick, we might go back there one day". Anyone with any sense would have posted the second (belated) post before rubbing your ex-clubs supporters nose in it (who in the main thought he was the dogs dangly bits). And that audition comment was just stupid.

In PR terms that hour with no statement from his side was way too long given some of items he covered in his MK statement. Look at the way other players/managers have left Notts and it does not take too much nouse to realise the right and wrong way to do things.

The above, coupled with the brief statement from the Notts board of directors I think almost ensures him a very poor reception on his return.

I thought it was telling how SM referred only to his talent and nothing about the character of the man in his presser.

Yeah, we should all settle around that - both things can be true.
Special talent but flawed as a character as 13 moves in 10 years would testify. Where I work that's the first step in eliminating candidates when they have CVs like that.

"My time at Notts County has come to an end, this club will always have a special place in my heart and not just mine but my family’s. Playing football at Notts helped me fall in love with football again and for that I will be forever grateful. I want to thank both managers who have been amazing for me, all of the staff, all of the great players I had the pleasure of working with, some who I can call brothers. It has been a privilege and an honour to play and Captain at this great club. Finally I’d like to thank the fans, I have loved playing in front you every single week, hearing you sing my song is something I will cherish for ever. Thank you, I wish you nothing but the best ❤️"
Off course none of this could be genuine in the slightest! I mean the nasty man has gone and signed for someone else who has offered and will pay him more money. Who in their right mind would do that ?..! Remember he could have stayed for another 6 months and then gone for free . The club would have got no transfer fee and he could have got a bigger signing on fee plus a higher wage.?
Yes a nasty horrible man obviously..!
Personally I think we both got a result..good luck DC, thanks for the memories.

    Are they footballers?

    Totally different from other jobs.

Take away the loans and he has been at 7 clubs.
