Well that is something of a relief after all the uncertainty and also some of the names that have been bandied about. Still have some concerns about his health but don't think he would have gone for the job if he didn't feel up to it.

Like OB, I can remember some of the negative aspects of his previous time with us, but over all, he was one of our better managers and fondly remembered. I look forward to seeing what Tony-and Mark Venus of course!-can do. Hopefully a more attacking style of football at the least.

We may not have the same depth in squad quality that we had when he managed us previously, but we still have some decent players that I'm sure he can bring the best out of. As Brunty pointed out, he has also shown during his time at other clubs that he can adapt to the abilities and quality of the players available to him.
