    Charlton Athletic Post Match Thoughts

A good day for all at NYS! Cracking result against an in form team managed by a man we once coveted as a messiah until SE came along . Shame about the late goal costing us a top half spot and worries about a pre game and in game injury with our paper thin squad.

    Thoughts?

    To quote Tony the Tiger..."G-R-R-E-E-A-A-T-T-T"

At Christmas Evo looked destined for the dole queue, now he's looking like a replacement for Pep!

It has certainly put a tiger in my tank!

You need to be of a certain age to get the tiger references.

I can cope with mixed metaphors but mixed tigers? Come on!

Great performance in a very enjoyable game - not used to this after the last 2 years but at last a sense of looking forward to games returning again?

Great energy all over the pitch and really should have had 6 or 7. No weak links, just a good team performance, but Odoffin looks a giant in a very good back line. Mom by mile for me but pleased for Green who linked up well with Wilkes, made 2 as well as scoring one, and created more for others too. And well done MacDonald too, very busy up and down the right side and put in some good crosses. Shame it took so long to realise the lumps up front were doing us tthe damage - I thought we might have struggled without Nombe's energy but Green more than compensated.

Shame about McWilliams who has come into form recently - looks like a hamstring so big setback for him and we're very thin now so feel the good form is a bit on egg shells. Absolutely pulled Charlton apart today and proud to be a Miller again! Well done all at the club.

After last few games, summer business doesn't look too shabby - Powell looks excellent, MacDonald and McWilliams looking great to add to Rafferty, Jules and James. Just the two main signings look the most questionable.

What if we lose Odoffin and Humphreys in next 2 weeks though? Gulp.

Results matter but can't be fooled by that. Charlton gave up early doors. Get fax machine working!

A great performance and a great result. The players are doing their job and the management have got a system and have turned us around, it is up to the back room silent gang to give the fans and the management team a squad that can continue this improvement. Need to build on this and keep a run going which will build confidence.

I'm hoping I've got humble pie all over my face in May..
Still 20 odd games to go and I can see they're all together fighting for the cause, it's not hard to see is it.
Long time since we've seen this..
    What a refreshing change..

Can't be fooled by what exactly? As for Charlton giving up early err no, they were simply given a football lesson today which was great to see.
