I think you have to give Stoke credit today, they put three players on each winger and our wingers still got the better of them. No way Stoke will struggle now with Robins as manager.
As I?ve said before, we have a mid-table squad. As it happens, due to the construction of this league, mid-table teams can compete for promotion. The top teams of this division are Sheffield United, Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland. And this is not me slating our players.

And with all respect to Mowbray, he can?t say anything else, can he?

As soon as we went one down today I knew we would draw. We would fight back in the game but not have the mentality to win. I don?t think we?ve come from behind to win all season, but we?ve come from behind to draw a lot. We have some players who are comfortable mid table and comfortable drawing, but not enough desire to fight and win. It?s a major problem for us.

Couldn't have put it any better Matt! Boingy needs to understand it's two points dropped yet again, and for sure Mowbray being ultra competitive he will know this in his own mind too and be disappointed. You can't keep drawing home games and dropping two points when the other team are on the rack. Remember Norwich and so many more too. You have to kill off games!

Funny as boingy has been saying for years now that we dont have a winning mentality. We finally started having one with Carlos but because we hit a barren patch its all forgotten what he did. Football is what it is for EVERY club. I dont buy into this divine right some of you think we have to win every match. Ups and downs, thats how life not just football goes. We will experience the same with Tony front foot or not. When hes winning youll say hes the best thing since sliced bread and when hes losing itll be Mowbray out! The whole thing drives me over the edge. Thats why I opt for a balanced human approach.

Ask any manager in this league and they will say we have one of the best squads, which is why we havent been mid table for two seasons.

Then, yet again, we haven?t been involved at the top of the table those seasons either. Had there not been play off places 3-6, the word ?top? might have been redefined.
