I can understand their managers frustration, they were 2nd best in every position for the whole game.

That's about it. Logical thinking suggests we have done the hard bit and the rest should be well within our capability, but when have Notts ever conformed to logic? I've looked at our next few fixtures (Bromley, Carlisle, Morecambe, Tranmere at home, Gillingham and Port Vale away) where we should get plenty of points. But whenever someone has posted "we have some easy games coming up" we invariably manage to balls it up!

    Find this extraordinary.

I?ve not been shy in voicing my opinions about SM when things weren?t going great. I?m very happy to be currently being quiet as that means he and the team are doing well.

If he takes us up my humble pie would taste fantastic.

I couldn?t make it today so could only watch a stream, but it was probably the happiest I?ve been watching a Notts performance all season. We were sharp, direct in our passing and a constant threat in transitions when we had the ball, and pressed relentlessly and looked solid without it. Second half tailed off into dullness but we never looked like conceding and had already got the job done. We have enough good players not to need someone who can?t cope without being the main character every week.

A late night treat - Abbott has played in the EFL Trophy for Spurs this season before joining us, which I?m 99% sure counts towards the ?you can only play for two clubs in a season? rule. So while they could recall him it would have to be to play in the first team, which is obviously extremely unlikely, they couldn?t loan him to a higher level.

Sorry, I genuinely thought I was misinterpreting!

Didn't someone post on the prediction score thread that they had got a good home record.? ?
A great result no matter how you look at it.
