Thread: Luca, what's gone wrong?

  1. #1

    Lightbulb Luca, what's gone wrong?

Tipped for big things this season and simply failed to deliver.

He can't even get into a goal-shy team.

    What's he worth now?

Transfermarkt says 12 million euros, which is just over 10 million pounds. That's nonsense now, we'd be lucky to get half that.

I fail to understand what our coaching staff do all week. Get to the bye-line cross the ball with either foot. Repeat and go again.

Hopefully the coaching staff can also tell Flemming and Foster that when crosses come in to attack them, not see them pass and put their hands on their heads as they did on Friday night when Anthony delivered a great cross.

We are also far too slow moving the ball forward. Our mid-field make more passes either sideways or backward than they try finding some on forwards. At the start of Friday's match Anthony was beating Cirkin almost every time, but the service to him seemed to dry up.

I will not mention that so-called referee.

Other teams break from the back with pace, we just ooze forward, exploring all paths of least resistance. I think Southgate has been coaching Parker, no other reason for it.

There?s nothing wrong with him - why must there be something wrong

He?s a young man learning his trade - it never ceases to amaze me that we criticise a wide player for getting it down and going at people ( I appreciate he gets it wrong delivery wise sometimes) .

For so long we had wide men ( so called ) that never went at a full back inside or out and they were lauded now we have someone who tries and we *******ise him at every opportunity.

Nowt as queer as folk - amazes me.

I'm not criticising the lad but he is not living up to his potential and I can't see why.

Has he lost confidence or does Parker not trust him?

Not interested in taking sides, everyone has their own opinion and they're entitled to it. Mine is that Luca is currently sh!te, and not even close to being worth a place in our squad. He plays like a headless chicken, if indeed he does have a brain, which I doubt, it's time he started using it.
