A nice away day up to Elgin.

A home draw is always nice, but not too bad a start for our victorious cup winning run.

    Fuucking horrible Skiter cuunts.

Old Highland League hatreds die hard.

Joe Harper made his debut for the Maroons at Boroughbriggs in September 82 and scored after 11 minutes.

The Reds beat them 5-0 in the cup on a Monday night in 1971. 5-0. Ally Shewan played centre half for Skiterrville.
Gave Brian Irvine his first shottie in the big chair so not all bad.

It had to be the pars in light of JC passing.

I had a feeling we would get them, but thought it would be away.

East End Park would have been a great away day, but I'll settle for the home tie.

    We thought so too
It might be fitting to have a minutes respect solely for Denis Law at next game (St Mirren) and then one for Jimmy Calderwood in game with Dunfermline given his connection to both clubs.

Did we not have one for Eddie Turnbull against Hibs ?

Was the Turnbull one not at Easter Road? I honestly can't remember.

I'd imagine there will be a minutes applause/silence at the St Mirren game for the both Law & JC and I am sure we will do something for the Dunfermline game to remember/celebrate Jimmy. Regardless what anyone thought of him, he was our manager for five years and will always be a part of our history.

If I remember correctly, the Dunfermline supporters didn't much care for him after he left as they went in to admin and he got the blame for spending the money.

Whilst the club should rightly do something to celebrate JC, letting Dunfermline beat us in the cup would be taking things too far, although it would be a fitting tribute to him. 😂

It would be fitting tribute to him, but like you say taking things too far,
