    Matchday Thread: Cardiff v Rams

Is it a bit desperate to get 'some hope' from 30 minutes of a match you lost?

Lets hope so, and some positivity rolls over to this one

Me? Norses for courses, Salveson bags two in a 3-1 win. Fozzy MOM

It's that or reaching for the razor blade

With the number of Definitely injureds and the plethora of if fits, I'll hang fire on a prediction until we see whose in the side.

I think we're on for a battling end to the season, which might bring out our best. I don't know about Saturday, it feels like a game too soon, and we rarely travel well to Wales. I think the crowd could make a difference in this one, they tend to be more positive away (impressive considering recent form!)
A stop the defeat train 1-1 might be on the cards.

Working on the principle that if I go for a loss every game from now on then I reckon I'll have a better 'win' rate than Warne's lot!! 2-1 defeat and bottom 3 beckons!

I will stick with my belief that it will all come good, 2-0 to the Rams.

Sounds like, from PWs interview yesterday, that we could have Cash, Nyambe and Ozoh back for the Cardiff game. That would be promising. JWZ in goal. Back 4 of Nyambe, Cash, Foz and Elder (Nat P not ready, it seems). MF3 of Adams (who's a doubt. Tommo/Ossie if he can't play), Ozoh and Kenzo. Up front? CBT on the left, Salvesen in the middle and? If Ward is fit, I'd play him ahead of NML or Jackson.

I'd like NML to be playing on the right if selected, it's where he's most effective imo

Ward crosses better - which is crucial for Salvesen - NML is a bigger presence but it’s never good having a captain who isn’t sure of his place. Otherwise completely agree with that selection and I believe, despite our dreadful away record both throughout this season and forever at Cardiff, that that side could pick up at least a point, although Adams being available is crucial.
That’s if the Cardiff City Stadium hasn’t been blown away!

Just seen PWs pre match interview with RamsTV. Is he reading my posts? In it he pointed out that (shock horror) Yates and Salvesen are different types of player and that starting with Yates and bringing on Salvesen or vice versa, would give the opposition problems and then, with a twinkle in his eye, he said, or even playing them together.....
