Absolutely right on this one, it’s a public safety issue and leads to the ridiculous situation where people are warned about perps without being offered the most obvious physical characteristic that would exclude massive amounts of any given population from suspicion, and allows those sought (ironically given the population, and the assumption amongst the white population that it wouldn’t be ‘their own’, mostly white folk) to hide in plain sight

Why wasn't there the same outrage over Lucy Letby? Surely by the same logic used by rioters they should have been storming hospitals attacking innocent nurses? I dont recall musk or Farage being as vocal over her horrific offences?

There are lots of inconsistencies Sith, and they work both ways, the heat always seems to rise when there?s a cross - race/colour/faith aspect to it - again both/all ways

There are, take Dan Wootton for example, so very vocal over Southport, yet over Lucy Letby he's all bless her cotton socks.

To be fair he's not outright saying she's innocent, he's 'just asking questions '

Jeez. Which part of info held back to avoid having the trial called off and the lad walking free?

He 's a very disturbed lad. Severe mental issues. Should have been sectioned age ago. Only 2 weeks before the murders, his Dad stopped him going to his old school with a knife.

Under the current Law, which HMG has said it will change, terrorism is an act, in support of a religious or political ideology with the intent of overthrowing the powers that be.

This is a deranged lad, obsessed with murder and, I repeat, should have been sectioned long ago.

To a lot of people, this was a terrorist attack. The Law says otherwise. The Law will be changed to make this kind of attack seen as a terrorist attack.

The police, Starmer, the Court, all had their hands tied behind their backs by UK Law.

It''s a shame he couldn't be tried as a terrorist but the Law is the Law. That is being changed.

An even bigger shame is that the lad wasn't sectioned earlier.

Online there's all manner of lies still being peddled. Like his Dad was a Warlord. His dad was actually in the army of the smaller religious faction (Hutus or Tutsi, I forget which) and it was they who were victims of the genocide. He fled to the UK. His involvement in the fighting was to protect his tribe. Minds are being poisoned by lies.

Good point, but probably, as I’m certain you’re aware, because there isn’t an agenda against nurses, where as there is against those of Muslim appearance or with the ‘wrong’ skin tone.
To suggest that there is no correlation between the Southport rioters/sympathisers and those of a racist disposition seems ludicrous to me.
I’d love anyone on here who defends the rioting in Southport and across the UK last summer to tell me what the rioters hoped to achieve other than the creation of more disharmony, misery and heartache.

You’ll probably believe that I’m disagreeing with you just for the sake of tit for tat. I’m not, but you really need to provide evidence when you say things like this.
I feel certain that when descriptions of someone that the police are looking for, or warning about, that details of skin colour/likely ethnicity are included.
In any case, in most cases an identikit style image will also be attached and it’s difficult to avoid reaching a conclusion when confronted with such evidence.
It maybe that once people were misguidedly reluctant to refer to skin colour in such cases. I doubt that’s the case any longer and I certainly haven’t noticed any recent reticence to attach ethnic labels where discussion of grooming gangs has been concerned.

There’s always a point in providing evidence AF. It’s just that yours has regularly been very suspect of late.
I don’t aim to discredit anything you write but I will always challenge when I think you’re wrong. Your personal allegation last night was ridiculous and today’s suggestion is little better, imo.
I just don’t happen to agree that there is a reluctance on behalf of the police or the press to hide skin colour/ethnicity in the description of a suspect and, as I’ve said before, I don’t know what it’s got to do with Swale. We just happen to often agree about politics as much as we maybe disagree about Paul Warne. That’s forums for you.
