Indeed, even the person I know says very little info is released, the approach is very much not to offer silly money, avoid bidding against other clubs and get value for money which all takes time hence the frustration fans express about how long it takes to get a signing on board. A sharp contrast to Mel Morris's throw money at a problem and get taken to the cleaners!

The Clarke deal is apparently done, Warne wants championship experience rather than sign a player from abroad who may take time to settle in, but of course he needs bodies so might not get exactly what he wants.

I can 100% say thats not true. Also looks like the Villa player is going to Hull, but wonder if we were ever in for him really, we've got the striker we needed, a more creative midfielder is required alongside a CB.

Still need another CH by the look of it, especially if Cash goes. Currently we have Cash and Clarke fit. Phillips with a calf injury, Foz and Roons as cover. Cash goes we're a bit short in that area.
