Firstly congratulations to Bramall for coming into the crowd and giving his signed shirt to that kid. Secondly well done to Burtons number 10 he showed our two donkeys jch and hugill how to play the central striker role.
Now we scored a great goal by getting the ball wide and crossing a low ball with pace to avoid their huge No6, so what did we do the rest of the game, hit the ball high down the Centre for him to head it, are footballers really that stupid. The worst of these is Phillips, how dumb is he to keep doing it, time and time again and why at halftime are the team not told not to do it. Their 2nd and 3rd came after we left their no3 alone on the left, right in front of Evan?s and he had done it at least four times before, that is just poor in game management. What did Evan?s go to Wigan for? He must have seen how they play and how bit their CBs are, why not set us up to play around them.
I know we have a small squad and it looks like TS is looking to sell more family silver before he runs off into the sunset but even with the squad limits we have, the way we played and setup was awful, no plan to deal with a direct big team.
I thought Evan?s team were always much better after Xmas, mmmmm well we are a mid-table team, with a board that have no desire to give us a decent squad. Very very poor and I hope we see a response on Tuesday to at least get us sat safely in mid-table.

Well, well, well.............What a shocking display of using the wrong tactics.......

We played a diamond in the middle and they play a 5, then we wonder why we we're over run in the middle. Their LB had all the time in the world to run down our right and put crosses in. That was right in front of our 2 leaders..........

Why did we continue hoofing it to Wilks & Green when they failed to win any decent headers? The only time Green headed it was when he scored......

Why wasn't the subs on after 70 mins and not the last 5, what genius thought of that?

................back to reality with a bump. Get ready Tuesday night if they score first.......................utm.

We didn't lose today because of Bramell, but he's continually running out of position, and if he didn't have that pace( which is great) he'd be a Postman......

We could have conceded 6 or 7 against Bolton and Charlton.
We could and should have conceded 5 against Stockport.
We are an average team with an average manager with average players.
We will win some and lose some . Just average.

TS knows full well, why spend money now, it would be a waste.

He knows that if we make a challenge to get promoted, the team we have would
be no good in the championship, the club would come straight back down.

Get promotion he would have to spend a lot of money to stay in the championship,
plus have current players got it in their contracts that they get a rise in wages with
    promotion.

Personally the club should have offered a few contracts out to the end of the season
only, with a forward & attacking midfielder brought in, get a decent position in
league one, perhaps have a flutter in the play-offs.
But stay in league one, & rebuild for next season with players, at least TS would not
    be paying championship wages.
Come the summer of 2025 there will be up-**** players looking for contracts.

But what happens is down to TS he holds the purse strings.
We don't want the over-used record of, " we have learnt from past mistakes ", when
we has fans know the club as not.
False promises & statements have over-ran the excuse system, the club has used.

If Tony Stewart wants success for the club, he should sell up, or try to get investors in
to help the club financially, one or the other.

.....and we are playing in a league where the overall standard is distinctly average with no really outstanding teams.
I haven't seen the game today so can't comment on the performance but, given our poor away record, we really shouldn't be too surprised at the result.
Tuesday night against a team who have scored 3 today suddenly looks a little more worrying.

Maybe we should try and get Lamy back during this window eh?

This magic eye knows what works sometimes at home won't do away. Don't play players out of position that's one rule. Humphreys for one. Mcdonald don't play full stop. Was surprised with the loan signing of Sibley cause needed a natural wide right player all season + some height up front. Like I've said who can bring something to the side not on their last legs!

We were the better team against both both Bolton and Charlton and should have won both by 4 or 5 goals. We played well too.

Yes we were the better team in those games but let's not pretend the opposition was very good.
Bolton fans let the manager know what they thought of their team after all and yet, amazingly, they're on the fringe of the play offs.
Charlton's defence was all over the place and not helped by a dodgy goalkeeper but they put us under a bit of pressure after they scored their second goal.
It's true you can only beat what's in front of you but the results of those games didn't tell the whole story.

We were and I probably didn?t explain it very well. Our defence towards the end of both games we got stretched both Bolton and Charlton missed chances.
We?re average imo and we could and probably should have conceded more even though we could have scored more.
That?s the traits of an average team.

Gary Bowyer did a number on us.

We absolutely can't cope with crosses in the box just in front of the 6yd box and smacks of the lack of a leader...like they had...and who we were so lucky to have woth Woody all those years. All our defenders look like bean poles and worse have no mental strength.

Wtf are our scouts doing ...did they not tell Evans about that striker or to not keep lumping high balls from deep?

Im absolutely sick of us turning up and at every given opportunity high balls into the box. This is totally Evans and Raynors doing and it's getting on my wick.

Why would you even do that with Wilkes and Green up top? They need to work channels and be running at the box not competing with 6ft4 brickhouse centre halfs

Sort it Evans your methodology is a joke
