I don't want to watch my team play attractive football and get beat every week, it's pointless and senseless. Sport is about winning and I don't care what it takes and what they dish up. I just want my team to win at all cost.

Kompany ball was not sustainable at a club like Burnley with its financial resources, has last season proved. Pragmatism has kicked in. Like with Dyche ball we have to build the side from the back and make the priority clean sheets.
As Parker ball evolves the style will get a little more offensive and better on the eye, until then you should be thankful for what you have and be grateful that we are challenging, in an incredibly good position

This season for me has been a breath of fresh air

I'm not fond of watching us concede goals. Never have been, never will be. We don't concede. I'm happy!

How on earth we are going to keep hold of Esteve is anybody's guess. The lad is a beast.

Nobody wants to see their team get beat by playing unrealistic football but there are limits. Sometimes our approach is not acceptable, and risks have to be taken. I think it's fair to say that two of our recent games have been the worst games I have ever seen in nearly 80 yrs of watching professional football. If this continues I'll make sure I watch every BOURNMOUTH game so faith in the beautiful game is not destroyed.

If we get promoted he will obviously stay, if not we will cash in

I was on the Turf for the game sinkov mentioned when we stuffed Bournemouth 7-0 in the FA Cup.

In those halcyon days we had the likes of Adamson, McIlroy, Pointer, Harris, Robson, & Connelly. Football is cyclical - our day will come. Believe#

It?s a little contradictory Ballcock as you say you want the same thing as everyone else to win but we could have tried to win yesterday and then we?d all have been happy - however we refused to contribute offensively only defensively.

I hate the idea that a lot of Burnley fans seem to have that other teams just turn up at Turf Moor, roll over and get beat. They don't.

We all know footballs just not like that

Our situation is that we won?t know though as if we play within our selves and don?t test/ stretch ourselves why bother at all.
