    Humphreys

I think that he is a classy player and by far one of the best defenders that I've seen for us for years.

Since he moved to midfield we have seen an upturn in form. But then again he was only playing a bit part since being dropped so it is very welcomed.

I do however have one critisism. When he passes the ball short he doesn't make himself available ffor an instant return pass. He is very static once he has given the ball to a coleague.
I noticed it many times last night. He had incredible control, made himself a bit of time to pass the ball whilst he was marked and then just stayed there or moved slowly.
This may be due to him only playing in defence during his career but if that could be trained into him he would play an even bigger part in any team.

What are your thoughts on it?

He's casual and a great talent. Got to agree though he's very static out of possession and imo we still looked light in midfield last night.
Sibley looks a good player but what his inclusion does is pigeon hole Powell. Powell has looked brilliant when he has that free roll. With Sibley in the side he's stuck out on the left
I'm going back to it. This is what makes McWilliams a good fit in our midfield. He's always on the move he's always available and because he's more of a sitting player Powell has a free range

Humphreys he's not a natural midfielder. Odoffin better there now Raggett he's fit. Mcwilliams not sold on him. Need a wide right player. Then with Sibley & Powell be a strong midfield.

Are you saying that you would drop Humphreys?

I would suggest with some good coaching he could be a fantastic midfielder.

He's been the best midfielder and the best passer of the ball. His vission for the runner has been brilliant. I can't see how Odoffin can match or better that.

Last night didn't think he was in the game much. Odoffin he's abit more like Vaulks more direct getting forward more. At our level for me I'd sooner have.

He controlled the ball brilliantly in close spaces last night and passed it simple. He did it a few times but didn't get into position to recieve the ball again.
I think that we need a mixture of tallent in the midfield so having too many players like Odoffin and Vaulks is ok but having too many leaves us open, no?

Do you actually watch the game or just spout your preconceived prejudices regardless of what actually happens?
Not so long ago you were telling us Odoffin was a central defender and not a midfielder!
