I don't normally see you on here scrutinising every comment that each political leader makes and then saying that they are bad leaders because of it.

What? The people you meet always agree with you and tell you what you want to hear?

Do you know how pathetic you sound?

It is not about popularity. It is about whether, on this specific issue, the majority of people can be persuaded that the nature and timing of the comments are perfectly fine and not an affront to common decency, irrespective of any overriding policy aims.
If they are so persuaded, or they simply can't separate this issue from the anti-woke culture war, then that suggests there has been some level of psychological 'capture' of the electorate, in a way we see with Putin and Kim.

What that means for geopolitics long term is anybody's guess.

What are you talking about? The one thing I don't do is avoid made-up 'points' you make. I ask you for proof and then get abusive.

It isn't a conspiracy theory. Why don't you call me an anti-vaxxer while you're at it? Another one of your childish name-calling tactics.

Read the previous posts. It was an issue that was identified in Trump's first term. There were problems at the FAA that was leading to safety issues in the US aviation industry. Due to the hiring practices of the FAA peoples' lives were in danger. Trump grounded the Boeing Max fleet after FAA wanted to discuss the failings of the fleet more.

Trump then wanted to replace the senior management of the FAA, but was undermined by US career-civil servants. He didn't get chance to clear out the board.

Trump said this time he was going to sort out the FAA and it's hiring processes. The bill was drawn up on 22nd January - over a week before the accident.

He alluded, after the accident, that it could have been caused by what he was trying to sort out. I really can't understand what you are saying is a conspiracy theory.

Don't start me on about the Laken Riley Act. Another issue that the Democrats brushed under the carpet until Trump came in.

More laughable evasion tactics. What every other political leader says, right or wrong, doesn't excuse the depths Trump has sunk to here. You appear to be the only one refusing to see it.

The spade is in your hands, keep digging by all means.

I never said that, but I do go outdoors and meet people. I said Trump was given a Mandate by the people of the US. I said most of the people I spoke to, were extremely excited about the future and also confident. I also said before that most of the people I spoke to were very negative about the previous four years.

I did meet only one person who was openly anti-Trump who I spoke to. I was in the US and with Americans for five weeks. Please share with me the last time your were there.

That person, asked me if New Zealand was near the Ukraine and also told me that the world had missed out on possibly a great leader because Kamala Harris hadn't won the election.

What is pathetic about that? I'm at a loss. What were you doing in that time, playing online gambling in your underwear?

F*cking hell, this is like talking to a plank of wood. Evade, avoid, swerve, do anything but face the point.

You obviously think it's fine for Trump to use a tragedy to try and score cheap political points. I don't think many would agree with you.

I hate to butt in here but you are absolutely, totally, 100%, COMPLETELY missing the point that people are making. Surely you can see what people are disgusted about? It isn't Trump's points or arguments.

Ok....I'll put a challenge out to you. Quote exactly what Trump said about the events in the Washington DC air disaster. Don't edit them and lets see what you put.

I don't even think you have read them in full and what context they were in.

I think you are having another Musk sieg heil moment.
