On a Dutch talk show this week, they discussed the effects of 5 years of Brexit and they concluded it hadn't been any kind of success, whatsoever.

They also said that a poll had shown a majority in favour of either rejoining or renegotiating better terms. True? I don't know. I can think of one forum member who will say it's false

They also showed the part of the press conference the day after the vote when Gove and Johnson both said a few words at the lecturn. On the day of what should have been their greatest achievement ever, those 2 eejits who had lied their arses off to persuade folk to vote Leave looked absolutely shell shocked. Beaten. Defeated. They had absolutely no idea what to do. They had had their worst nightmare confirmed. They'd won. The reality was dawning. They had no plan. They had to have one, quickly.

The rest is history.

He's also, just thrown his hat into the ECHR ring? Meanwhile, Germany/Italy.France are ignoring the ECHR and deporting and tightening borders. The mans a complete loon.

No doubt Reform are performing well in polls. Considering Starmers 'apparent' failure and low ratings, and Reforms 'surge' in the Polls when would you genuinely call for an Election to be held?

I’m not sure how important the polls are seven months into a five year term and I think you might have told us before, several times, that Labour are finished and Starmer has made a fatal mistake. Same as you keep insisting that Brexit retains some credibility.

At the moment I’d put money on Badenoch being the first party leader to be replaced btw, but we’ll see.

I’m not sure how important the polls are seven months into a five year term and I think you might have told us before, several times, that Labour are finished and Starmer has made a fatal mistake. Same as you keep insisting that Brexit retains some credibility.

That anybody capable of independent thought, would even suggest that Farage (?1 million plus a year grifter) and his billionaire backers are actually interested in improving the lives of the voters they are pitching for is truly laughable. That furthermore our deluded friend is unable to differentiate between the European Court of Human Rights and the EU (hint they are not connected) and furthermore seems to think that the UK acting in accordance with international law and international conventions isn't desirable, just demonstrates how utterly stupid many voters are.

But then we have Trump turning a national tragedy into a political point by claiming it was caused by diversity policies, whilst ignoring the FACT that there was no relaxation in the psychological, intelligence and competency requirements for the Air Traffic Controllers role. This is the kind of **** that's been pumped out and swallowed by ignorant oafs.

But lets be fair, let somebody explain what reform's policies are and what their solutions are to the big issue here, which is that power and money is concentrated with a small number of people who have absolutely no interest in sharing either with the majority of the population of any country.

A point I've been making for ages. The "1%" first found they could buy favours from a politician. They then found out they can actually buy the politician. Then they decided an even better idea would be to become a politician as then they wouldn't have to pay politicians to get their wishes granted.

Those of a similar train of thought to me see the WEF at the forefront of this and believe Schwab et al should be disconnected from any and all connections to governments and Royal families. I agree with them.

the fifth anniversary of Brexit passed at the weekend. Maybe we should do a bit of a round robin amongst we few and answer the question ?what actual, quantifiable difference, has Brexit made to you personally??
