Not if you renew online though. Once you've gone in and shown Great Uncle Boab's ID you're in for life.

Quick note - if you present someone else's ID as yours I don't actually think it can be questioned. Imagine if you were refused an OAP season ticket because you look too young? Would be the complete opposite of the good old days of The King's Lounge, getting your ID checked and being told at 17 you were too old to drink there. You'd be gobsmacked.
