Very poor team selection, as much as I like Mowbray his comments regarding Wallace and Swift horrified me, neither should be anywhere near starting, player of the season Grant relegated to the bench

Why oh why do players have to put their hand in the air to appeal for an offside? If Styles had got on with the game, I'm sure that the second goal would have been prevented.

Appalling refereeing. The ball initially hit his arm which was flat to his chest. It then hit his other arm which meant that it should not have been a penalty. Obviously does not know the rules. As for the offside, could have gone either way. The refereeing in this division is shocking.

Caught out by the long ball which is always a risk when playing more open attacking football but Hardie took it well to be fair. A tough game and post Rooney, Plymouth don't look much like a relegation side. Yes, the penalty was harsh and we certainly deserved something from the game but a wake up call after the scoreline of our win last week. Definitely missing a striker so hopefully Lankshear can hit the ground running when he arrives on Monday.

The game needs to really look at the handball rule. In my opinion we need to go back to the original rule. This stated that if, in the opinion of the referee, the hand struck the ball it was a free kick or a penalty. If the ball struck the hand, play on. The rule, as it is at present, is a complete mish, mash.
