I would have done if he hadn't clearly thrown his toys out of the pram after being stripped of the captaincy. He clearly told St Johnston he wanted to be captain or he wasn't going. Then he loses the captaincy there I believe and the toys were thrown again. Now he's at Barrow and probably be back in non league next season.

To be fair Luke Williams said repeatedly last season that he hoped we'd bring in some defenders in January
From memory the only one he was given was an unknown kid on loan from Norwich
Together with some midfielders/forwards who hardly featured
We all knew we needed defenders but it was left till close season to bring in the outstanding guys we have now

Interesting that Jaden Warner has now moved permanently to Newport. that's some come down for a guy who was heralded as a future star when he arrived here.

I think we broke him. His confidence got destroyed in that defence. Shows what mental strength Macari has to have not only survived but thrived

To be fair to Cameron, there was not much he could do about it, if he had not put in the challenge then he would have been at fault. Not totally convinced it was an own goal, watched it lots of times, if I was the Newport player, I would claim that one.
