I hope that he doesn't, however, it could well be finances which dictate his departure will happen. Who knows?

Aye it's about my limit mon ami, anything more technical is beyond my pay grade, all this talk about transitions, channels, second balls, false nines and number tens is gobbledygook to me. When I played full back life was much simpler, if the winger was slower than you, happy days, if he was quicker, a whack or two would slow him down or discourage him, and going over the half way line, except for corners, gave me nose bleeds, there were six players further upfield than me, let them manage the attacking side, besides I was an amateur footballer with limited training time, not a marathon runner.

The basics where still the same back then, you still needed to control the ball, pass the ball. These simple basics seem to be trumped with the need to buy players who can run about like a chicken, as the manager priotises pressing more than quick direct football, with pass and move tactics. Parker wants to bore the opposition into submission and they want to score a own goal to end the dross.

If there is a plan to get back to the Prem then selling key players mid season doesn't make sense. If Brownhill goes then Pace must have written his plan on the back of a matchbox (or 5, one for each year).

As my good friend BT pointed out recently, about the only thing me and him agree on is this. There is no plan, Mr Pace and ALK are flying by the seat of their pants.
