The Dee4life board submitted Kenny Valentine as their Primary representative after the end of the Dee4life AGM in November 2022.
A reply was received on 7th December 2022 signed Dundee FC Ltd (probably John Nelms) stating that the nomination of Kenny Valentine as the Dee4life Primary representative was a hostile act which would be dealt with under the Club?s Articles of Incorporation (sic). This is an American term.
I stated at the Dee4life board of directors meeting on 15th December 2022 that we should reply to John Nelms advising that we are nominating Kenny Valentine as the Dee4life Primary representative on the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors and the DFC Ltd board of directors must accept Kenny Valentine?s nomination under rules 79-82 of the Dundee Football Club Limited Articles of Association.
Grant Hill the vice chairman of Dee4life was not in favour of this as he wanted more dialogue with John Nelms.
The majority of the Dee4life board of directors agreed with Grant Hill and this golden opportunity was lost.
Over two years later Dee4life have gone backwards thanks to a majority of Dee4life directors adopting delaying tactics which has got them nowhere apart from losing almost 200 members since the Dee4life AGM in November 2023.
I still have a copy of the letter signed Dundee FC Ltd stating that the nomination of the Dee4life Primary representative at the end of November 2022 was a hostile act.
The letter also included the pack of lies about the visit my wife and I had at Gardyne including the tour of the premises and the letter sent to Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited by a Dee4life Director which was not in favour of the new stadium development at Campy Nou. This was a breach of the 2018 Data Protection Act by the Directors of Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited.
The letter was seen by all the Dee4life directors which includes a Dundee City Councillor who is also a member of the Dundee City Council Planning Committee.

As I said, in many fewer words, the Dee4Life BoD needs to deliver something tangible for its members or stand aside. At the current time they're about as effective in their roles as Josh Mulligan was at Right Wing Back against Hearts.

Last Wednesday I sent an email to Andrew Pyke Secretary of Dee4life and Keith Winter Chairman of Dee4life highlighting that FPS are in breach of the entrenched rights of the A shares which states that the maximum total of loans outstanding at the end of the Dundee Football Club Limited financial year should be a maximum of ?50,000.
The Dundee Football Club Limited annual accounts for the year ending 31st May May 2023 listed the loans due to FPS are ?2,430,523 and ?2,384,443 is due to Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited.
This is a total of ?4,814,966 somewhat in excess of the ?50,000 maximum under the entrenched right of the A shares which have to be paid off within the next 12 months.
I also told Andrew Pyke and Keith Winter to stop *****footing about with John Nelms and submit the names of their Primary representative and Secondary representative to Nelms immediately after the end of the Dee4life AGM on Saturday 1st February 2025.
I have not received a reply from either of them.
If Dee4life want to maintain their current number of members and increase their membership they need to put submit their Primary representative to be elected to the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors which cannot be blocked by Nelms under rules 79-82 of the DFC Ltd Articles of Association dated 13th August 2013 which were agreed by FPS including John Nelms.
They must also submit their Secondary representative with immediate effect.
The first three people nominated by the Dee4life board of directors as their Secondary representative can be blocked by Nelms but he must accept the fourth person nominated by the Dee4life board of directors.
The days for talking about John Nelms refusing to speak to Dee4life because Nelms hates Dee4life are over. (Source minutes of the Dee4life AGM held in November 2023 where John Nelms?s message boy Matt Edwards told the Dee4life members present that John Nelms hates Dee4life).
Action must immediately be taken by the Dee4life board of directors instead of continually ?kicking the can down the road? which has got them nowhere as Nelms continues to hide away in his Gardyne bunker only speaking to Yes men.

I don't think that anybody at the meeting was asking for any confrontation with any group of supporters or with the Board of DFC. Seems to me we needed a Plan B if John Nelms was not going to accept our suggestions.

The obvious Plan B which I also suggested when I was a Dee4life director was to bypass John Nelms and send emails from the Dee4life board of directors directly to Tim Keyes informing him that John Nelms will not speak to us and he will not accept the nomination of our Primary representative on two separate occasions namely Ian Baird and later Kenny Valentine in breach of rules 79 - 82 of the DFC Ltd Articles of Association.
Tim Keyes might not be aware that John Nelms is refusing to speak to Dee4life.

I must admit that the members of the Open Letter Group who were admitted as Dee4life external directors and later full directors have been a big disappointment as they were powerless to do anything. They even voted on ‘party lines’ in January 2023 not to tell the Dee4life members what had happened regarding their nomination of Kenny Valentine as the Dee4life Primary representative on the DFC Ld BoD. They waited until September 2023 to tell the Dee4life members and then they made a hash of it.

I also attended the AGM, main topic was der GRUPPEN FUHRER John Nelms.

You might remember discussions about the Dee4life Bank of Scotland account which was used for the joint venture between Dee4life and Dundee Football Club which included income from the various packages such as Gold and Platinum plus latterly DEETV.
Various Dee4life directors and myself as an official Dee4life volunteer had tried to get this account closed with no success.
Eventually the Dee4life members reluctantly voted in favour at an AGM in 2022 to give up Dee4life?s right to the funds in the Bank of Scotland account.
The Dee4life secretary sent a letter to John Nelms advising him that the Dee4life members had voted in favour of giving up their rights to funds in the Bank of Scotland account and they were handing it over to Dundee Football Club to access the funds and close the account.
Last January (2024) I was clearing out my old emails and I came across the details of the ?infamous? Bank of Scotland account including the full name of the account, the bank sorting code and the account number.
I went to the Bank of Scotland in Bowmore, Isle of Islay, gave the details of the Bank of Scotland account to the teller and I asked if it had been closed. I stated that I did not want to know the balance but it previously in the region of ?2,400.
The teller told me that the account was still open and it was marked ?inoperative?.
The lady in charge of the branch told me that it was relatively easy to close an inoperative Bank of Scotland.
I told her that Dee4life had signed over their rights to this account to Dundee Football Club and their managing director John Nelms had received a letter at least a year ago advising him that the club would have to close the account to access the funds.
I further added that John Nelms had crossed a red line for me and he hates Dee4life so he can get on with it himself.
