I don't understand why there's any expectation of a loan back when we sell players, when they're gone, they're gone, and I don't especially want someone playing with their mind elsewhere or not giving 100% for fear of injuries.

There is a whole host of rumours going around, as (perish the thought) journos are just throwing names out there to generate clicks!!!

The midfielder from Boro is still the best bet, despite rumours Boro won't let him go unless they have a replacement. As for the other names I'd wager most are just unsubstantiated click bait as you have noted.

It would be good to see another couple through the door, but I won't hold my breath.
