I think you’ve misunderstood. The stat I quoted was of the popular vote cast. Trump won 49.9% while Harris won 48.3% so hardly the overwhelming voice of the USA.

Interestingly perhaps, four years ago Biden won 80.3 million votes while last year, Trump’s overwhelming victory was secured on the basis of 76.9 million voters.

No one really cares about what voters think seven months into a five year term, that?s just political reality. Do I approve of everything that?s been done since July? Fair enough. I claim no expertise at all, but it was the UNCTAD report I was quoting. Would have expected the UN to be impartial and know more than either of us, but I won’t argue as I’m not sure.

P.S. Please don’t start the ‘screaming’ allegations again. Can’t think of many less likely to scream than Starmer. Always seems quite calm to me.

Agreed, and while my comment about reform was a bit tongue in cheek, you do winder where he will sit out his tenure as an MP. Personally think he should stand down and they hold a by election.
