    No I didn't misunderstand

No one really cares about what voters think seven months into a five year term, that?s just political reality. Do I approve of everything that?s been done since July? No. Do I think it?s been disastrous? No. Does Starmer have more credibility as PM than any of his three or four predecessors. Yes?imo.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The claim that Israel?s war in Gaza is driven by a desire to control Gaza?s oil and gas resources has spread widely on social media and news platforms over the past year. However, Gaza has no known oil reserves and only one small, undeveloped offshore gas field, which Israel has never claimed. Surprisingly, this disinformation traces back to an official 2019 report by a UN agency (UNCTAD) that contained numerous false statements and unsubstantiated figures about non-existent energy reserves that were provided to it by known conspiracy theorists. Despite multiple analyses debunking every part of the report, the UN has not retracted it. This article examines the sources of the Gaza oil myth and points to deliberate attempts by the UNCTAD to fuel the false narrative of Israel seizing non-existent Palestinian oil.

Ok Starmer won't get a falklands (i hope), but as time passes and the media obsession with farage fades away support will come back.

I think it's pathetic really the smear campaign against him, the voice coach stuff is really scraping the barrel.

I've said it before, I'm not defending him just because, I am not his biggest fan, I didn't vote for his party, but he's doing ok in challenging times. He's no Blair but he's an improvement over the recent incumbents of no 10
Why is it scraping the barrel? It broke the law. He screamed and hurled abuse across the commons at the opposition.
She was a tier 3 worker , in a tier 4 environment. She isn't even a Labour party worker. Hes a hypocrite and because its him, you're excusing it.
Another lie he's been exposed under, since pre election.

Fair enough. I claim no expertise at all, but it was the UNCTAD report I was quoting. Would have expected the UN to be impartial and know more than either of us, but I won’t argue as I’m not sure.

P.S. Please don’t start the ‘screaming’ allegations again. Can’t think of many less likely to scream than Starmer. Always seems quite calm to me.

Actually thats a failing of his, he seems too calm and detached from passion, he doesn't do angry very well.

Restrained, dispassionate annoyance is invariably more effective than the ranting and raving shouty version of anger, imo.

MP Andrew Gwynne sacked by Starmer, and rightly so, for racist, misogynistic and offensive posts wishing pensioners to die.

Reform might have found their next MP.

Stupid is as stupid says. Can’t believe what they think they can get away with sometimes can you? Well done for acting quickly and getting rid of this imbecile.

Agreed, and while my comment about reform was a bit tongue in cheek, you do winder where he will sit out his tenure as an MP. Personally think he should stand down and they hold a by election.

I can't personally see any of the main parties having him.
