If a grown man believes that he is a woman, and takes steps to live his life to reflect that? Good for him. None of my business, it has absolutely nothing to do with me.

However, when the rest of society is bullied into submission to accommodate that - we should draw the line.

We should not tolerate being forced to call them women. It's just not true.

Certainly not allowing access to women's sport, where a biological male has vast physical advantages. Trump's position on this is the right one - it should be banned. It is entirely unfair and unjust.

Women-only spaces must remain solely for women.

The policing of our language on this, particularly in a medical context, has to stop. It's dangerous, warped and does not represent actual reality.

Men cannot get pregnant, and women cannot have a *****. Sorry, but that's just a fact.

And most of all? Stop forcing the idea that we can be born in the 'wrong' bodies on impressionable children. That poison needs to be kept AWAY from schools - ban it, and sack anyone in any position of authority who forces it on young boys and girls, potentially leading to permanent life-altering medical procedures.

Grown adults are free to live their lives however they choose, but do not expect the rest of the country to change how it operates to accommodate this.

We need to be respectful of individual choices, but we must not deny reality.

There's so much ignorance and misundertanding in this thread, I have to accept it that the old generation just will never have the capacity to understand and the world will continue to become more accomodating regardless of backwards steps like Trump.

It sounds like you just get snapshots of right wing propoganda and convince yourself that's what everything is like.

At football matches I've seen fights outside and inside the stadium, heard racist and other incredibly offensive abuse, druken misconduct, we've seen the Sheffield Wednesday fans.

A football fan from Rotherham was mocking the death of a 6-year-old cancer victim.

What you are doing regarding stereotyping the entire global pride movement because you've seen some propoganda snapshot of incidents allegedly happening somewhere in the world is as ridiculous as implying all people who go to football matches are basically all guilty of doing all these disgraceful acts, and we should ban football.

I hardly ever hear of trans or lbg people imposing their views on me, and i know and worked with lots of them. But I hear incessant talk from loads of talking heads and threads like this expressing dreadful things about trans especially (for them there's not much worse than denying their identity when do many have had to hide it much of their lives, doesn't get much more hateful imo). Who started this thread on your footy site? Which posters are pressing their agendas in it without any reason to on your footy site? They didn't have to. How many people on here start anti Farage threads? It's a footy site but the radicalised vocal minority just can't help themselves with their recently acquired political enthusiasms! Keep it to your own boys please!

I'm not sure what your case is.

You're going on about extreme examples of pride events as though they're normal and representative.

I wasn't saying the examples I gave of football fans are "normal", I was making the exact point that to cherry pick such examples is wrong and a misrepresentation.

Extremists "taking control" sounds so foam mouthy. What have "they" taken control of? And who are "they"?

I think your brain has been turned mushy by overconsumption of misinformation and you're increasingly disconnected from reality unfortunately.
