Just found this link to one of the Swansea forums. I think Durham might enjoy reading some of it.

A lot of the rest is interesting as well.
I used to hold LW in high regard. The Bros and Chairman would not tolerate this whether true or not and is why gossip should not be allowed out of the club.

He should put his money where his mouth is and buy the club.

Disappointing, or the word he just used at 10'30" - classless.

thought when LW left that we'd get a clearer idea of Reedtz Bros Notts' identity at Notts. Perhaps we're seeing a clearer picture of LW's identity sans Reedtz Bros. eta kind of hope not, because he's generally got a great energy to him, bet he's great on the training grounds.

I suppose it could be coincidence that both LW's teams let him down with poor recruiting. Notts with no defensive upgrade and now Swans with whatever it is they haven't done. A very one-dimensional manager as became obvious to those that could see.

Early in his Notts career LW had an interview that was was very much like this in his attitude, I think it was after Gateshead away? There were rumours the board was not happy with his interviews and there was sharp difference in future interviews so maybe something in it that the board demand decorum? It might just be who they are but Ardley and Maynard also don't or didn't go after refs in their post match interviews either

Ahhhh yes Durham the oracle - who labelled didzy a carthorse and berated the 2 kids signed in January (who did fabulous today).

I think it is pretty obvious we never upgraded our back three sufficiently post-promotion. That was not the whole picture, of course, but I would find it hard to find many who would argue otherwise.

Clearly it is difficult to exactly know who will make the step up, and hindsight is a wonderful thing and I know zero about Swansea and their business; but we did not sufficiently upgrade following promotion.
