    Cracking cup tie. Pope looks really shaky with his feet and sends the occasional exorcit to his defenders.

    I think Nick would struggle in this Parker side. Trafford is a different class with his feet, he is incredibly confident and composed

    I recall that this was the reason why Southgate preferred Pickford to Pope. You have to wonder what they practice day to day if he is still uncomfortable using his feet after all these years. Anyway, Nick is still a great “stopper” who stepped in and stepped up to the plate when Tom was injured.

    Has made 81 competitive appearances for Newcastle and conceded 86 goals.
    He played 155 competitive games for us and conceded 189 goals.
    A very decent record for any keeper.
