The sporting director / recruitment teams are indeed largely bullet proof and don?t have to face the media as you say but when times are good like they are at present and recruitment has been clearly good they also don?t get to publicly revel in any praise being or glory being handed out. They leave that to the head coach.

I am sure our recruitment team aren?t too bothered about this , probably too busy head down looking at spreadsheets, statistics and tapes of potential targets
