I wud normally look oblate spheroid up to see what it is but between sitting thru 120 mins of dross being described as a " classic Scottish cup tie " and then the unprofessional draw I cudnae be bothered but I get the idea.

Just happened to access this thread, God knows how I did it, but Jdfc still posts on here, and I wonder if he still feels that DFCSS had duped him, and why he feels that way.

There would still be a DFCSS fans rep (Primary representative) on the Dundee FC board of directors if the Dee4life board of directors had a replacement immediately in place to take Brian Lawrence?s place after he resigned as the DFCSS fans rep on 1st April 2017.

I had thought that it might be possible to help Dee4life current Board to clear up their relationship with the supporters. It's handy to have someone who has a memory for detail,and maybe something can be done to help Dee4life

I think we are better to have an orga inaction like Dee4life, but imo, it needs more members.

I heard that at the Dee4life AGM on Saturday 1st February 2025 a member stated that he was a trade union member who had experience as a mediator in his work.
This member stated that he was prepared to help mediate to get the Dee4life board of directors a meeting with John Nelms.
A couple of former Dee4life directors explained to this member the problems the Dee4life board of directors have had to trying to get a meaningful meeting with John Nelms who will not discuss meaningful questions from Dee4life.
John Nelms was happy to have meetings with the DSA as they were only interested in getting tickets for their members for Away games and other minor matters.
This member was not aware about the past difficulties and it is also likely that he was unaware that John Nelms who signed the letter Dundee FC Limited stated that the nomination of Kenny Valentine as the Dee4life primary representative on the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors was a hostile act.
In my opinion the Dee4life board of directors need to get their new website up to date with all the minutes of previous board of directors meetings from their previous website published in the Members section of the new Dee4life website.
This would let all the Dee4life members and particularly new members read about all the problems the Dee4life board of directors have had since 1st April 2017 getting their primary representative elected on the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors for starters.

Are you sure that publishing Board minutes is likely to help matters?
I don't think it would help, but I may be wrong. I think only the meetings where members are present, like the AGM, need be put in the public domain.

Why should an organisation with less than 500 members have a seat on the DFC board?

That alone makes the person completely unsuitable to have any involvement in DFCSS.
