I remember Brookfield too. Had him for Classical and General Studies. Remember Fordham the English teacher but never had him. I was last back there for a reunion in 2000 before it got pulled down.

John Fordham died at Christmas aged 88. Lovely bloke as was Mick, whom I had for gen studies too. I think we were very privileged - it was a class above in education.

Feckin hell CAM, that was a tough school. Never saw any girl at our school get owt and there was some rum uns.

It always surprises me how my mother and father?s generation can remember who they went to school with.
I don?t in any way mean that disrespectfully but it is great how you do it.

Frog, I can recite all my teachers in my Junior school, 67 -71. As regards Spurley Hey from 71-76 I can name them all too. I suppose they just made an impression on you and you kind of never forgot them for their good and bad ways.
