No John Nelms doesn't live in Ga Ga land with regard to most things, in fact quite the contrary. What I'm saying is he's definitely living there if he thinks Dundee fans, or anyone else, will just hand money to him with no idea of where that money will go just because they have some spare cash to hand. Most of us expect something for any money we spend either tangibly or with the comfort that it's being applied in a way that we expect.

We all know Islay's completely bat **** and that he has this irrational hatred of John Nelms based on his perception of one specific (as yet unverified) incident. But what do we expect from him really?

I believe in looking after Number One - myself and woe betide anyone who crosses me.
I know exactly what happened with our visit to Gardyne and the details John Nelms stated in his letter about our visit was a figment of his imagination.
There is a well known saying that the customer is always right except when it comes to Dundee Football Club.
Aberdeen Football Club have a fans experience manager meanwhile John Nelms has no interest in Dundee FC supporters apart from expecting Season ticket holders to renew their season ticket every year irrespective of inflation bursting price increases.
Dundee FC season ticket holders who are not a member of a DSA affiliated Dundee FC supporters club as treated as second class citizens compared to Dundee FC season ticket holders who are members of a DSA affiliated supporters club.
In my opinion this is wrong.
Dundee FC season ticket holders all pay the same price for their season ticket depending on their category and they should all be treated equally by the management of Dundee Football Club when it comes to the purchase of tickets for away games which is not happening at present.

Sorry Deeranged. You're post said we all know ...just wanted to make the point about it was your opinion.
I find some of Islay's posts informative, and I make my own decision about what conclusions could be taken from them.

I agree some of his posts are informative. However, for me, many of his posts are just bat **** crazy.

I think there's more of the latter than the former which on balance makes me think it to be the case.

I believe if we took a straw poll of posters on here entitled 'Islay - bat **** or not bat ****' - the result would be clear. Obviously I could easily be proven wrong but it would certainly surprise me.

He spent the bulk of his Saturdays away from Dens Park/Dundee, moved back for a short spell, tried to get his feet under the table at Dee4life, moved back to the wilderness and does nothing but criticise our masters
