I see Carlton Palmer has stuck his oar in, advising Warne 'not to return to RUFC'!!! My dad always advised me never keep pigs they get their noses in everything...

Someone seems to have fallen in love with Paul. Is he your boyfriend?

The main reason it won't happen is SE & TS relationship, SE likes the limelight and TS is happy for him to have it, deflecting away from the backroom issues at the club.
I believe that is more important to TS at the moment than on pitch success. As long as SE keeps us in midtable in L1 he will be manager next season if he still wants it.
Evans like a lot of player turnover, and there will be a lot this summer with a lot of contracts ending so he will be allowed to do some business, but with key players like Powell going into his last year of contract we will have all of the Odoffin fiasco debate about Powell etc again. SE is very good at talking to the press about such enormous screw-ups.
Remember all he has to do next season is not lose in the cups to L2 (or lower) clubs and get us in the Top 10 and it will be an improvement on this season, if he can do that on a lower budget than this then TS will love him forever.
Was a big advocate for Evans to return i really though we would push on this season with him in charge how wrong was I .Stewart is happy for Evans to be in charge because he bull sh@ts for him telling stories about how much he's put in this and that rubbing Stewarts ego and like Derby Miller said deflecting from the sh@T show that's happening behind the scenes with the dinosaurs running the club . Now I'm no Lover of Wrexham but first thing the did was get a CEO in charge if we ever get takeover by wealthy people the first thing they should do is Sack Douglas .Here is hoping

I thought the timing of his departure was bit odd(Best start to a Championship season for decades),and unlike some on here I don`t actually "Know" the reason why,but my guess would as simply as a great opportunity to manage a bigger club with better prospects and bigger wages, maybe he thought it might not come along again,as I suspect he doesn`t think he`s the best manager in the country.
Obviously his record in the Champ is poor, but then again not many have owt with us at that level, and he did have 3 promotions and a cup win, which is some record by any standard.
It would be worth him coming back just to see Gru & Grist spontaneously combust.
Think Warne doubled his money at Derby .Also a club 5x bigger than us better facilities probably a bonus for promotion witch he got ect. But hes proven to be tactically weak in the Championship failed with us and now Derby with more resources .If Evans goes we need a whole new look at things bit like Wednesday did with Sausage role
