It's very difficult to reconcile that sentence with the relevant sentencing guidelines and I'd be surprised if it wasn't at the very least suspended on appeal.

The two tier judicial system is a disgrace, to get just ten weeks for that horrific thuggish attack is no where near long enough.Amesbury has the bare faced cheek to appeal against this while still being paid his salary, funded by us the taxpayer.

And why should it take less, it would be a first. These legal types seem to drag everything out. They are the only ones who profit from the farcical system.
System needs to start afresh.
