As I said, you should never have been allowed access.

Yesterday evening (Monday) I was having another read of the letter that Nelms sent to the Dee4life board of directors on 7th December 2022 stating that the nomination of the Dee4life primary representative by the Dee4life board of directors was a hostile act which would be dealt with under the rules of the Club’s Articles of Incorporation.
He quoted the lies about the visit my wife and I had to the Club’s offices at Gardyne.
The letter is in the saved box of my iPad.
Met you once Islay, I don't have you down as a liar, I doubt very much your Mrs is a liar whereas Nelmsy 🙄

Islay probably isn't deliberately telling lies but is probably giving a very one sided account. As has been said above by BCram there will be his version and Nelmsy's version - the truth will be somewhere in the middle.

BP33 is correct that the chances are that the poor employee that agreed to show Islay around will have had no idea who he was, most likely got a good earful from Nelmsy after it too. Islay is very much persona non grata at Dens (offices) and Gardyne due to his irrational hatred of Nelmsy and his persistent criticism of anything Dundee FC so really should have had the good sense not to ask for the tour around.

As for Nelmsy and lies - the less said the better but he will have had some reason or justification in sending the letter. Islay or anyone else might not agree with his reason or justification but there will have been some.

I'd say he's giving his account as he sees it, where I differ is I choose to believe Islay over a man that's fell out with everyone except those that will do his exact bidding or those he sees as useful idiots......sit Doon at the back DSA. 😊

If he's asked for a tour and guy obliged in giving him a tour I fail to see what he's done wrong.

Can't disagree with that but Islay does go OTT when it comes to our Mr Nelms. My views are clear. I don't have a lot of time for JN especially his customer relations or lack of them. I would far rather stay at Dens than move to a new stadium and I'm rather less than pleased about team signings, selections, results and a lot more at present. The difference between Islay and I is I occasionally have a good word to say about the club and I haven't turned the aforementioned negativity into a full blown, irrational obsession and hatred of JN and all things about the club. I'm sure Islay is a true supporter but he sure goes about disproving this with the endless negativity getting on spite and obsessive hatred of almost everything DFC related.

We do have a lot of problems, but without JN and TK, we would be in a lot worse shape IMO.
You say you’re sure that he’s a true supporter, well again IMO a true supporter, wouldn’t attack anything and everything about the Club.
With regards to his tour, D4L should never have sent him.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion about the new stadium, but if you sit in the Main Stand, or Derry you can’t fail to see how bad it is. This season at least 3 old guys have fallen, either going up or down the stairs in the Main Stand.

Yeah fair enuf, but everybody can't have the same view.

I think Islay is a cantankerous stubborn relentless old bugger.....I like that.

He's certainly not a happy clapper......but that's nae big deal in my book.

I don't particularly like Nelmsy and he gets far too much credit for what he might achieve rather than the complete and utter **** ups he has.

I think he has failed the club and it's supporters.....Keyes money keeps it ticking over
