The difference between Islay and I is I occasionally have a good word to say about the club and I haven't turned the aforementioned negativity into a full blown, irrational obsession and hatred of JN and all things about the club. I'm sure Islay is a true supporter but he sure goes about disproving this with the endless negativity getting on spite and obsessive hatred of almost everything DFC related.
We do have a lot of problems, but without JN and TK, we would be in a lot worse shape IMO.
You say you’re sure that he’s a true supporter, well again IMO a true supporter, wouldn’t attack anything and everything about the Club.
With regards to his tour, D4L should never have sent him.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion about the new stadium, but if you sit in the Main Stand, or Derry you can’t fail to see how bad it is. This season at least 3 old guys have fallen, either going up or down the stairs in the Main Stand.

Now I will explain to you why I was at the Club?s offices at Gardyne and it was down to certain Dee4life Directors (not me) deciding to donate an unsigned Josh Meekings framed strip to Alison McQueen to raffle to raise funds for Dee Promotions.
I stated at a Dee4life board of directors meeting that we should be donating a decent signed framed strip but instead certain Dee4life Directors wanted to donate the unsigned Josh Meekings strip.
I think that they basically wanted rid of the unsigned Josh Meekings strip and they decided to get rid of it to Alison McQueen.
Nowadays framed Dundee FC strips are ten a penny.
Alison could not get anyone to purchase tickets for the raffle for the unsigned Josh Meekings strip and the Dee4life board of directors were asked collect the framed strip from the Club?s offices at Gardyne which was exceedingly heavy to say the least.
Josh Meekings was at the Dee4life table at the sponsors dinner in 2019. Josh was a perfect gentleman and a credit to Dundee Football Club.
Josh bought everyone sitting at the Dee4life table a drink.
I was available to collect the unsigned Josh Meekings strip and I phoned the clubs offices in Gardyne to arrange to collect it.
Norrie Price and Gary Cocker had previously had a tour of the Club?s offices in Gardyne in July 2022 when they had a meeting with John Nelms and his General Manager Greg Fenton.
I suggested to my wife who is Football Widow that she came with me and I would ask if we could have a tour of the Club?s offices at Gardyne but if it was not possible it was not the end of the world.
My wife often says to me that she wishes that she could meet John Nelms to ask him if he remembers her.
I will never set foot in the Club?s offices at Gardyne as long as John Nelms in charge and I no longer have the same enthusiasm for attending home games at Dens Park because of the lies John Nelms stated in his letter to the Dee4life board of directors about the tour my wife and I had of the Club?s offices at Gardyne on 5th October 2022.

Mrs. Islay is a football widow? Now, we all know you don't go to Dens so what team are you following so devotedly that your lady wife can be considered a football widow?

Yet another irresponsible post from yourself considering you previously posted that you saw me walking along Strathmartine Road on my way to a Dundee FC home game at Dens Park when you were sitting on a 22 bus from your home in Downfield heading towards the City Centre.
For all we know you might be out hill walking every Saturday afternoon during the football season and checking the latest Dundee FC score on your phone providing you can get a signal in the back of beyond.
I attend Dundee FC homes games when I am able to with my last home game being on Boxing Day 2024 against Ross County which was a 3-0 defeat and a hard watch sitting in the Main Stand with all the toffs.

I have a season ticket and attend most games only missing them when something more important arises. I probably miss two or three home games a season including cup games.

I did once see you from a bus walking up Strathmartine Road. I couldn't say for certain you were going to Dens Park since you weren't wrapped in a Dundee scarf and weren't carrying a blue and white rattle, although I do know for certain that I was headed there, I only have your word on that. Given that you're prone to exaggeration, for example your account of your visit to Gardyne, I have my doubts as to your intended destination on that day. Could just as easily been on your way to KwikFit.

I tend not to go hillwalking on Dundee FC home game dates for obvious reasons.

Do you honestly consider your good lady to be a 'football widow' when you only attend football games when you can be arsed annoyed? You've missed the last seven (7) home games, hardly a devoted fan are you? But I guess when a huge part of your day at the ground consists of walking around trying to find faults with absolutely anything so that you can write complaint emails to the club about them is probably a bit boring.

Is it boring spending your days looking for faults?

There is no point trying to have a meaningful conversation on this board. it is your way or no way with no one else allowed to post their own point of view.
I have seen posters the TDB complaining about your dictatorial posts.

    Dictatorial? Or factual?

I'm more than happy for people to disagree with me and to engage in conversation but when someone refuses to accept reality the chance of meaningful conversation is gone. Tell me one thing in that post that wasn't simple reality - one thing.
