    Big money problems at Manure

RatFace making another 200 plus redundancies because of "economic" decisions.

It goes on and on him cutting down on hard working essential staff while living his own superior life style.

One thing I'll bet on Saturday mornings. the trains up to Manchester from Euston will be very empty.

He's also getting rid of free staff lunches at the can**** in both Carrington and Old Trafford.

Only players get free lunches now - staff get a choice of fresh fruit or Bread/Soup.

Said it a while ago when Ratcliffe cancelled the All Blacks sponsorship by Ineos, and the Spurs sponsorship? scrambling for money because their finances are in the toilet.

I believe they abandoned the UK Americas cup yacht sponsorship too.

It must be terrible for the people being laid off. Hobo Jims own mistake with Ashworth cost the club 4 million pounds. Perhaps he should sack himself?

He has too high an opinion of his own attributes to stoop as low as that.

In other words, he's the dangerous type. One who thinks he knows it all and is infallible but really is quite dense.

Let's see how long he lasts in this position. After all since he went there Manure have only gone down, down, hill without the prospects of reversing the slide.

I wonder who could be the main man to blame for that.

Perhaps the former devout Chelski admirer.

    Uggggh, another airport departure lounge.

Before the Prem, Man U had 7 titles. A big deal but not the monster Fergi's cheating and bribery blew them up to.

They, like spurs have returned to the mid-table also rans they were.

All the penny pinching isn't going to change things. Penny wise, pound foolish.

The money grubbing and begging the government for support to rebuild their stadium.

They'll never be a dominant force again. They're finances will ensure they will always struggle from here on out.

    Ratigan paid $1.9Billion for 29% - using my world class mathematics 1.6 x 3.33 = $5.328Billion.
No way anyone is gonna come in with ?5.5-6 Billion needed to buy the club from the Glazers. Neither the Americans nor Hobo Jim Ratfink (I'm loving Hobo Jim BTW - Kudos Topster for that one!) will flog the cashcow for anything less.

The current owners aren't interested in paying off the debt just service the loan and take their dividends. The fans will be hostile for ever and that's perfect. We went through it with Ashley and know what happens to a club when the fans disengage.

It's gonna become the football tourist destination with a flat atmosphere piped in through the PA system.

    Brilliant!

So, right here in black and white on the BBC

?Last week the club revealed a loss of ?27.7m in their second quarter financial results and the Red Devils have lost more than ?300m over the past three years?

Where is the punishment?? That?s 300% over the ?105m allowed over the 3 years!!!

What are the allowances or limitations as to what is included in the loss calculations?

Because that to me should be one hefty points deduction

It's not generally realised what the extent of their money problems are.

Their day to day running costs are out of control and without regular success their annual income is dropping at an alarming rate.

They have so many average and below average players on such high wages and long contracts not worth their market value which they therefor can't off load to bring cash in, which leaves them in the position of not being able to afford to rebuild.

I can see it coming quickly to the time that they will be such an unattractive proposition that they will be losing some of their sponsors, which is "free money"

The above coupled with the re-emergence of Citeh, despite their recent temporary blip, Manure are not the attractive set up which they were a few seasons ago.

As we all know, you can't survive on past glories for more than a couple of seasons or so.

To sum up, Manure's time is up. Long may it reign.

I would consider a sumner swoop for Yoro. May just get a bargain. I also think EH could work miracles with Hoijland. The raw potential is there, I can see it. They just aren't using him properly or supporting him in
games the way he needs to be effective - age is on his side too. We may also just get another bargain there too.

Trust me, I can see a player in there.
