Since this is a thread of essentially one Vs. two, lets actually put it to bed in another way.
Which one was involved with bringing players on and selling for plus 1m?
Which one sent teams out which played better football, attacking football?
Which one achieved the highest points total in a D1 season?
Which one got the most promotions?
Which one stayed a season in the champs most? (But then gets trumped by Mr. Moore)
Which one missed out on staying up by 6 minutes?
Which one spent most money, wasted most money, 80 odd players?
Now, here’s the rub, which one left probably because there really isn’t enough money to make the job that little bit easier? BOTH.
There never is a straight choice much in football. But I will take team spirit, attractive football every day and evans before didn’t really provide that.
He never had a towner, or ogbene, not even a taylor. Among other things.
And ten years later he doesn’t have a clue. If he managed like ten years ago, it would be a start. It’s like watching an old punchy prize fighter.
A couple of bods on here need to wise up. It’s about something past it’s best, not who has to replace it.

Oh, and the board has to realise it too.
And just to be clear - that was an observation, not a threat.
Have you worked out yet the difference between the sophisticated art of insults, and the crude, schoolyard ones that you employ?
As an entomological adept, here's a further fact for your consideration...
Did you know that the leech has 32 separate brains?
That's right - THIRTY TWO!
The sophistication comes from not including the punchline. OK.
All this is moot. RUFC have a reputation in the footballing world that, more than is warranted has a board expecting results from very confined resources.
Let's not forget Evans was about 8th in line after we got turned down left right and centre by managers our board or club can't attract neither do we even deserve.
Time to wind our necks in and actually realise the last 20 years are not indicative of Rotherham United. A stable boring odd cup run mid table 3rd division club is what we are with no grand designs of anything else like we've had this century.
Sad as it is at opportunity lost, we are still the club playing at Millmoor in front of 5,000 fans, if we're lucky!
Stop being blinded by New York, it never has been and never will be ours. There's also plenty among us who'd take Millmoor back in a heartbeat, because back then football was more about what happens on the pitch
I wonder at this point if our chairman would have warne in charge of this squad or evans? Because ultimately he will choose, not this thread topic.
