I love Jatta, but he ain?t great.
Some classic revisionism here, wootton missed a bucket load of chances, played against poor standard of defenders and also took some penalties. Jattas mobility and general play is a lot more advanced than when KW was at Notts (cant comment much on his performances for Stockport tbh)

The only thing wootton has over Jatta is that he is playing in league 1 (his agent correctly advised him a good club to move to unlike ML or DC).

Gotta say I thought Wootton was massively over rated when he was here, missed lots of easy chances and couldn’t score away. But fair play I must have been wrong cos he’s now regularly starting for a league 1 team.

Much prefer Jatta though, more mobile and probably a better finisher. A higher ceiling than KW I would have thought.

I was going to say the same. I think Jatta is a better finisher. When he's through one-on-one, he's usually pretty composed and slots it home. I remember thinking at the time that Woots should score more as he was often wasteful.

Lol, yeah you?re probably right actually, though I do remember him fondly. He did miss some big chances for us but also scored some crucial ones, he?d score a bucket load for us in this team.

I?m sure I saw a stat that said Jatta has missed the most big chances in the division too, so I would say in response to your revisionism for Wootton that there is something of a blind eye towards some of Jattas non performances this season!

That being said, without Jatta and the outlet he has given us this season, I dare say we would be nowhere near the top three and such a good chance of promotion.

Given the choice i would like to see both play together. I think Jatta would get more opportunities with Wootton along side him, instead of picking up scraps..

Wooton is extremely good at holding the ball and very good in the air. Much better than Jatta. However I am hopeful that AJ still has time to learn the technique required for the former.
Jatta is the better prospect going forwards.

This, Jatta is playing in a far better side than Wooton did so it is hard to predict.
