Scottish football is real dross. There?s only one team that is going to win the league and it?s there to throw away (nowadays).
The rest are just there making up the numbers as they don?t really give it a go. Rangers kid their fans on that they do but they are miles off it.
As for the rest?utterly shambolic. Extremely poor managers, shocking players and absolutely terrible leadership at the top and run by egos rather than quality.
Celtic are the only team who want to win the league. If Rangers change they might have this drive. The rest are just a joke. Should just be amateur rather than professional. Nothing professional about any of those clubs.

That's true of all leagues - there's only ever going to be one team who'll win it. Presumably you mean one team capable of winning the our league.

Celtic can afford to win the league, the rest of us can't.

In simple terms for you min, they have spending power far greater than what any of us can realistically can afford and the gap is getting bigger. Even the zombies will struggle with a potential owner in the wings with fairly deep pockets and even if they do get their act together, it would just be what the SPL/SFA want.

You either chose to follow it and its limitations or you can go and watch the EPL.

Not winning anything is what around 90% of football fans signed up for. If we didn't have that amazing spell in the 1980s our trophy haul would be even more abysmal.

Celtic need challenged not just through Rangers but a few others. Aberdeen have wealthy people on the board (extremely wealthy). Things can be done financially to provide a challenge. Most importantly though is extremely good coaching and having players who are willing to train harder than anyone in the league.
We have none of these requirements and that is why we are a nothing club nowadays.
Waving a white flag is not the way to continually go into a competition. It?s a game of football. The Celtic players work harder than the rest and have become better equipped to deal with any challenge. Are they better managed?.100 percent yes.
Look at how our players conduct themselves on the pitch. No real competitive level, no real level of imagination and a very poor style of play.
We are obviously not the only club in our league but I would rather deal with our own shortcomings than address other teams.
Aberdeen FC aren?t even attempting to better Celtic. We aren?t even attempting to better the team in 2nd place. We have surrendered our soul and all the spirit we galvanised ourselves with a good few years ago.
That is why I sound annoyed with them very regularly. The fans are getting duped into thinking we challenge for trophies etc. We challenge for nothing correctly?.Aberdeen FC is full to the brim of imposters.
The people at the club don?t earn a living, they are given a living.

I honestly dont know why you bother supporting a team like Aberdeen.
No offence min, but I still reckon you are just a troll.

You have no idea how we train as a team, not a clue. Just like you're not privvy to what goes on behind the scenes at the club.
It could be our players can't cope with playing in big games, it happens and sure it is a common theme when shopping in the footballing bargain bin.

We've discussed it all to death and you either follow the dons or take up something else if you can't handle disappointment as it's the only thing you are guaranteed following us.

I got an excellent book read last night when the football was on, no point getting worked up over a foregone conclusion.

Might not earn me top red points, but I'm eagerly awaiting our next game on Sunday and the cup game on the Saturday.

    Life's ower short min.

I am not a troll, just a Dons fan who wants to win and will accept no less.
Can I ask why you eagerly await our match against Dundee United and Queens Park? The way we conduct ourselves we are giving ourselves no chance of winning the Scottish Cup and the match against Dundee United is meaningless.
I was brought up watching Alex Ferguson’s Aberdeen team. They had a real go at anyone. Not always successful but it was certainly not for trying. His team tried harder than anyone else in the country…he pushed himself to the maximum and gave his team every opportunity to win.
Today was probably a day off for our lot after the absolute doing last night. I wonder how many of our players went into Cormack Park and worked on things that would improve their game. The whole lot of them should have been in and demanding extra from their manager. That’s not the mentality at Aberdeen though (nowadays)….playing FIFA and pretending about football is their lot.
Let’s have a look at them when playing in their next match against Celtic and see how they react. I don’t want to hear excuses for players not trying hard enough. Money has nothing to do with it.

I enjoy going to games. I especially like going to Pittodrie.

Dundee United isn't meaningless as we are playing for the bragging rights of third place and always good to f*ck them over and put them back in their box.
Granted it's not much to crow about, but better third than fourth and so on.
As long as we are in the cup we have a chance to win it.

You really have to let go of the 80s team min.

We'd all love to have a squad as capable as back then, but modern football wouldn't allow it.
It was a one off. The coming together of a good youth policy, shrewd signings and a once in a lifetime manager. Will never be repeated.

Money talks in football now. If you think we are getting any better through working harder and application you really should take up tiddlywinks as Scottish fitba isn't for you.

You don?t get my point. It?s simply because Aberdeen FC don?t work hard enough to win things nowadays is why we are where we are. Celtic can be beaten and if our club would all seriously up their game we would give ourselves a far greater chance of success in all competitions.
I will say it again?money doesn?t make you work harder as it?s all in the mind and having the desire to do it. Aberdeen FC have been short changing Scottish football for years and will continue to do so if they keep using money as an excuse.
We can win trophies but only if we give ourselves the opportunity. No one will just hand one over in sympathy.

Out of curiosity?.who here can pick a player who you think gives their very all every match?

Does Jimmy Thelin do enough as a coach. Are we strong and imaginative on set plays are we strong in tactics and are we filling a starting team with good players?

If you are struggling to think of a player etc and see what I mean in the paragraph above then you will see how you are being short changed.

I don't even know where to begin with that pile of nonsense you have just written.

Let em ask a question instead. Celtic's revenue last year was ?125Million, ours was ?24Million. There are more than 50 leagues in Europe. Can you give me any example in any of those 50 leagues over the last 5 years where a league was won by a club with only 20% of the revenue of the richest club?

Whether we like it or not, money rules football and UEFA have f'ucked pretty much every league in Europe with their Champions League cash and nothing is ever changing until the rich teams all f'uck off and play each other in a super duper league
