Watching the game, I have to agree with many. Edging snail pace to safety, but we must not be sided tracked by the odd bit of relief.
And what needs to be done in terms of moving forward.
One interesting point is why does our manager dress up for away games, looking smart, yet trot out in tatty training gear at home?
Sloppy.
We were slow and lethargic yesterday. It wasn?t a great match for either team. Yet 5 goals on the board it could be viewed in another way superficially.
The ball was like a hot potato, neither team wanted it. One team well in the dog fight, one desperately trying to stave off being involved.
When their defender got a nose bleed, off comes the shirt (with dried blood, in the regs), yet he is allowed to play on with nose still needing padding, and clearly with fresh blood on it.
Young refs these days. Clueless.
And another thing. Why is it a defender is allowed to hold on to wilkes quite effectively slowing him down, whilst he gets a weak shot off, as a result of. In the area, and I don?t care how bland this holding was, it was highly effective and no one can get a proper shot in.
The refereeing std is now becoming a joke. Games are just turning into pub games. It?s led by teams, but is allowed to be accepted as the norm by referees.
The last two home games, and this especially.
